Thanks for your very kind comments! I was a teenager who knew Jim and Pam well, so the “interview” was not a formal interview.
Raeanne Rubenstein, who was a mutual friend, was editing a paper called Crawdaddy at the time of Jim’s death; she asked
me to write my reflections of him in Paris as a remembrance. Looking back, and considering I had just left Paris a few days before his death, I
can’t believe i was able to do it after the shock of his death. I think it holds up well, and gives an accurate description as to how he was,
at least some of the time, there. I also know things that I have never spoken about. He was worried about his health, and told me he was coughing blood.
look for my book on Mickey Cohen and the LA underworld next year. I will be getting my pub date soon. I think people will like it.
Then, I may write a memoir about adventures and people I knew…like Jim and Pam in Paris.
